This spring ABT Placement class will take place on Sunday, June 6th. The ABT Placement class is for students looking to move to the next level or students new to the ballet program at SCD. Instructors will notify current students who they think may be ready to take the placement class. If you are moving from Dance Works 2 into ballet you do not need to take a placement class you will register for ABT Primary.

For teen dancers, you will audition in the next level up. For example, if you are currently placed as an ABT 2 you will audition in the ABT 3 time slot. If you are a youth dancer chose one of the youth time slots available.

Dress Code for Class: Black leotard, tights (pink or skin tone), and ballet slippers (pink or skin tone). Long hair MUST be in a bun, if unable to put hair in a bun make sure it is pulled back and off the face. Short hair MUST be held off the face. -or- White leotard, black tights, white socks, white or black ballet slippers.

12:00-1:00 Youth (7-10)

1:30-2:30 Youth (7-10)

3:00-4:00 Teen ABT 1 or 2 (if you are a teen new to the studio you’ll attend this time slot)

4:30-5:45 Teen ABT 3 or 4
