Tuition Information and Policies for Academic Year Programs

Fall 2011-Spring 2012:

Sole City Dance requires tuition payments in advance in order to hold a student’s spot in class and to be sure classes have the necessary enrollment to run.

Please understand that upon registration for a full-year course (34 weeks) you are responsible for the full-year tuition unless you notify us by filling out a “withdrawal” form at the front desk 14 days in advance.

34 Week Course Payment Options:

• Full Year Payment

  Due at registration

• Semester Payments (2)

  1st payment due at registration 2nd payment due Jan. 23, 2012

• Monthly Payments (8 1/2*)

  First payment due at registration Remaining Payments due by the 7th of each month October through May.

  *Please note: For monthly tuition, December is ½ the usual amount.

A $10 late fee will be applied to all tuition payments not received within 7 days of the due date. (Late fee is applied the 15th of the month.)  If tuition is not paid by the 21st of the month, the student will be asked to sit out of class until tuition is paid.

There are no refunds of short-term course or monthly tuition. At the discretion of the director, refunds may be given to those who have prepaid for a semester or full-year with 14 days written notice.

An annual registration fee of $20 per student or $40 per family (3 or more students) will be charged for those participating in full-year programs to cover the cost of setting up and maintaining student accounts.

Pay your tuition for the full year and your registration fee will be waived. Pay your tuition by the semester and receive 50% off the registration fee.

A fee of $20.00 will be charged for returned checks.

To figure tuition for multiple classes:

1. Use the chart below for multiple classes.
2. Figure the total number of hours per week that you or  members of your family are taking class.
3. Choose a payment option:  full year, semester (2), or monthly (8 1/2):

For full year payment, multiply # of hours per week x rate x 34 weeks.
For semester payments, multiply # hours per week x rate x 17 weeks.
For monthly payments, multiply # hours per week x rate x 4 weeks.
